Choosing the Right Internet Dating Sites

When you choose an online dating service, you can go to one of the regular, run-of-the-mill sites, but why not register with some internet dating sites that cater to special interests? There are internet dating sites for sports fans, internet dating sites for Jewish people, internet dating sites for Catholics, internet dating services for Christians, internet dating sites for disabled people, dating sites for single parents....the options are endless!

To find out which internet dating service is right for you, take advantage of trial memberships and free memberships. Free memberships allow you to have a picture and a profile and browse through other people's profiles and pictures. However, they won't give you the contact information for people you might be interested in unless you become a paid member. Trial memberships are just that--they allow you to try the service out for a short period of time, usually 6-10 days, and you have access to most of the services provided. Once you are a paid member on most sites, you can do more detailed searches, and some will notify you when a new member has joined who meets your criteria.

When you write your profile, be specific. Instead of saying you're creative, say you're a writer or a singer or wherever your creativity lies.
Leave sexual innuendos out of your profile.
Say what your job is or what your career aspirations are.
If you're funny, don't say you're funny--be funny instead!
Don't lie about your age or appearance.
Be optimistic.
Be clear, not vague.
