Ahh, welcome to Romance 101. Here, you can learn all you ever wanted to know about romance and how it can spice up your relationship.

Chapter 1 in Romance 101: Romantic Tips for Men

This week we in Romance 101, we will be discussing new and creative ways for men to be romantic. Of course, flowers are always a hit, particularly if you give them for no reason at all. But creativity and surprise are the two key elements to keep love and romance alive in your relationship. For instance, being romantic in ways that don't involve flowers is nice. Call her office and ask, "Is this the office of the most beautiful woman in the world?" Okay, so we admit this may not be your style. Another romantic thing you could do is when you know she's had a hard day, draw her a bubble bath complete with candles around the sides of the tub, relaxing music and a glass of wine. While she's soaking in the tub, cook a romantic dinner for the two of you. You're sure to be rewarded....somehow.

Chapter 2 in Romance 101: Romantic Tips for Women

This week in Romance 101, the focus is on how women can keep romance alive for men. Granted, most men don't need romance, but most will appreciate the fact that you took the time to think of them. Thinking of romantic things to do for your guy is hard. Most guys are easy. They think it's romantic if you folded their laundry, or you agree to go on a hike with them, or you make them a special dinner. They're easier to impress than women are (no offense intended, ladies). In fact, when it comes to romancing guys, it's more fun for women to make grand gestures. But they usually don't get the kind of reaction they really want from men. At least, not that outward expression that women usually show. (That's not to say it's all lost on a guy. Sometimes it is, and you have to explain the romantic gesture to them, but then they appreciate it. It's nothing personal, it's just guys being guys.)

Hopefully this class will teach you how to spice up your relationship a little--in a good way.
